    Blair and Libya

Will someone please tell Blair to keep his nose out of our foreign affairs.

He resigned, his party lost the election, just who does he think he is?

Best thing to come out of this present kerfufflle was seeing Charles Bronson in a milk-float, addressing a crowd, supposedly in Tripoli!

You're right he's very good. If I was an Arabic tyrrant or the leader of a sham government, which devalues the needs and demands of its own people to appease an agressive occupying force, I'd be delighted to see Tony Blair as the Special Envoy.

In no way has his conduct since leaving office, or testimony to the Chilcott Enquiry, sugested that he is a complete religious nut-job. We all know that's the last thing the Middle East needs....

Slightly concerning that virtually every major foreign policy adventure the former PM got involved with when in power ended up with a bit of a war; Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan again. Just a thought, since several Forumites are employees, perhaps Tony is sponsored by BAE Systems because surely they are the only people who benefit from 'a bit of a spat' with Libya.

An excellent short film from the front line last month (starring a Libyan with an Irish accent and a Dragonov):
