Anyone going w/c 16th April?

I am in The lakes for a week and wonder if anyone has a round planned. We are based in keswick so could give some help, although I have to keep the family happy too!. have done the round so know the way round well. Other wise just happy to come and see you off or cheer you in at Moot Hall.

I'm supporting Bruce Duncan and Ant Emmet on their "Epic Tri"
at least I'm supporting them on the BG.
The guys are really busy with logistice for the whole thing so info is thin on the ground right now but its looking like an 8pm start on Monday the 18th. aiming between 22 - 24 hours, clockwise.
If you are available / interested in supporting then just say. I know the guys will be happy for any help.

Sure I am happy to be involved at some stage during their run. Let me know details of their schedule etc. I am staying in keswick so really happy to help, I just ned to plan it round the family a bit, you know what I mean brownie points and all that. By epic tri i guess they are doing Bg plus a cycle and swim of epic proportions? is the BG the final part?

BG 18th to 19th aim sub 24 hrs
JoGLE 20th - 22nd - aim 60hours (on a tandem)
22nd - 24th Devizes Westminster Canoe marathon (125 miles) aim 24hs (2 man canoe)

Wow. That sound so tough :w00t: I'II be intrested to see how they get on, espically the canoeing bit.
Have wondered if there are many fell runners who paddle, I did they DW years ago but over three days(K1). Its not just the paddleing, they'll have to carry boat and kit round A LOT of locks.....and aren't allowed help with this.

I don't know the guys name but I believe he has run or is known by Penistone but 2 and 3 years ago some one was trying a non stop super triple

Jog around the BG!!

he pulled up once with his support struggleing with Hypothermis I think and the other time the other time the weather was appaulling. both attempts got midway round the BG
