Just bumping this one up as just over a week away now.
It'll be good to see teams from K&C/Wharfedale/Bingley etc to do battle with the regulars from Ilkley/P&B/Abbey etc on this fast and furious burn-up with a nice little sting in the tail.
I'll be marshalling at the first turn plus sweeping.
Looking like about 6 teams from Bingley,ladies,vets,mixed and an 0/60s.

A good turn out of 49 teams for this nice low key event, from the winning Leeds City elite runners including James Walsh (cruising round having finished 6th in the European trial 10,000m at the weekend) to newcomers to the race like Chapel Allerton Runners (at least 3 teams out).
Other winners P&B vets and Bingley women (I think!).

what was the leeds city funny hat for?
The Leeds City funny hat thing was a tribute to the late John Lunn, who wore a similar hat every xmas for the 'hat run' he organised from his house.
Results have now been sent to Brett + participating clubs secretaries.

I know it's still over 3 months away but as (due to email problems) we missed getting details of this year's event into the FRA Calendar thought it worth an early mention that the event takes place as usual on the first Wednesday in July - this year the 6th.....further details at http://www.fellandale.com/danefield.htm
