Ahhh - I thought you'd just got lost. You looked pretty strong even on the second time round.

The midges were pretty bad, but at least when you're not running you don't swallow so many. It was really interesting to watch a race for a change, but I did get itchy feet (that may just have been the midges again however).

Thanks! I really enjoyed it, especially as I normally struggle to fit in weekday races. I blew a little trying to make up the large gap between us and 2nd place but still managed a respectable time so I'm pretty happy with that. Our first leg runner Tim Street really smashed it out so I'm well proud of him.

Not heard anything yet Rob but I'll chase them up for you (I'm in a less official capacity at the club now - by choice - so don't get to hear what's going on quite so quickly!).

    Hi all,

Just an early heads-up that in a break with tradition and to avoid a clash with the Otley Town Centre Cycle Race this year's Danefield Relay is moving from it's regular first Wednesday in July slot to the night before and being held on Tuesday 1 July 2014 - details at:http://www.fellandale.com/index.php/danefield-relay

Hope to see a few forumites there!

Tomorrow night, hope to see a few forumites there racing for tdf related prizes (so dinoF informs me!).

I'll be at my now traditional first marshalling point & then sweeping.

Thanks everyone for turning up on a lovely sunny evening at the Chevin. We had a record turnout of 84 teams; over double what we had last year.

Results will be up on the Fellandale site within the week. For those not able to stay until the bitter end/prize giving, I have a large number of unclaimed TdF themed food/drink items which I'll try to get out to the relevant clubs over the next couple of weeks.
