I note from the entry form that the organiser accepts no liability for ant loss. Yet to be tested in court as far as I am aware though, so if you suffer any damage to your formic friends on the run, you'd probably better consult a lawyer. Other invertebrates are presumably covered by insurance.

A little research reveals that there are at least 4 different women's records.. Do these times from 2007 (I am fairly confident it's 2007..) count or not?

Anna Frost has the quickest time (very quick -1.22.07!) - I ran that year (2007) and I'm sure it's the same course - will be able to see on Sunday. Last year Andrea Rowlands (1.27.17) ran quicker than her quoted record from 2011 (1.28.31) and Kate Bailey (1.26.59) has also beaten that time in 2008.
