Well done Mike, it must have been the vest of power and a great ability to eat doughnuts and drink endless cups of coffee that got you round.
Gary.

Great effort Mike
You had us all worried going up Clough Head - thought we'd never keep up with you...
New forumite 'point hiller' got round this weekend in 23.11. Chesterblue and I supported him on legs 2 and 3 on a 7pm start on Sat evening. We picked him up at 11.30 at Threlkeld a bit down on schedule.
Simon, as his mum and dad call him, was very relaxed right the way round. He was content to stop and admire the view during leg 3 and was seemingly unfazed by being about 50 mins down at Wasdale (whereas i was worried that he was taking it too easy). He had a great leg 4 (with a fresh pacer!) and cruised home.
Simon trained by running up and down London towerblocks. We've not all got decent hills on our doorsteps and thus i was especially impressed with his performance and dedication.
Well done mate, a privelege to meet you and to share in 11hrs of your excellent round.

Great Story Mr Swiss! Good on the lad, just shows what guts, determination and self belief can do.

Well done point hiller, great achievement.
Thoroughly enjoying your blog ST. Total faith in you being successful .
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
Congratulations to all the successful ones. A few of us from deepest darkest South Wales are out supporting Dan Booth this coming weekend doing a clockwise circuit starting 1.00am at the Moot Hall. Give us a cheer or a raspberry if you see us out. Any fatuous comment will do!
I like to go to work on a Monday morning more tired than I come home on a Friday evening!
I'm also making a BG attempt this coming weekend (2nd) - midnight start, heading clockwise.
Good Team in place, weather forecast not great - but I do like a challenge
