    New dungeon ghyll

    SAT. MAY 29. NEW DUNGEON GHYLL (R). AS. 11.30 a.m. 3.5m/2100'. Venue: New Dungeon Ghyll carpark, Great Langdale. £4.00, on day. Food included. ER/LK/NS/PM. Over 18. Records: S. Charles, 43.32, 2009; f. K. Jacobs, 01.06.57, 2009. All proceeds to CAFOD - developing world charity. Revised route as last year. Details: Bill Mitton, 13 The Green, Micklethwaite, Bingley, BD16 3JD.     I'm tempted Al. It looks like a cracking route. Will hopefully get a recce in before hand too.

    I'm guessin' this one ascends Harrison Stickle...previously run mid-week? What I call a "real fell race".

    It looks like a proper one. There is a good map on their website.

    You should have a good un Al, dunno how popular the race is but in previous results not many people seem to do it.

    Thinking about getting some brand spanking x-talons especially for it (...and to use at sedburgh 3 peaks and if i fit in any BOFRA's)

    Have you used x-talons on any really steep stuff yet? I need a new pair of shoes but will probably go for 330s again.
