    So true.
    No smoke without fire.
Cheating within the rules, but still cheating.

Pro cycling will never be clean.

It's a sad state of affairs when the headline: "Multiple tour winner not using performance enhancing drugs" would be more surprising to us.

Seems odd to me that such a high percentage of leading sports people suffer from asthma, I wonder how the percentage compares with the average / good sports person ?

Good point John. In the same way as we need a non-paralympics, perhaps we need a tour de France of people without respiratory problems. Imagine how fast they'd be.

I remember hearing someone saying that the physical demands of the Tour de France are such that it is surprising that anyone can complete it without chemical assistance.
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

Research suggests that about 35-40% of British Olympic cyclists use an inhaler, compared with 21% of the Olympic team as a whole and 9% of the general population.

    "Slithering reptile"?

Well I suppose Mrs Wiggins couldn't really call Froome a "drug cheat."

She doesn’t need to - everyone already knows. Anyway I’m off to get a tapeworm removal, lose 9 kilo (or 19) and then have a pop at some V50 records

She only needs to look at the other side of her bed for that.
