In July 2008, Moire O’Sullivan made a solo attempt on the Wicklow Round, (Ireland’s equivalent of the Bob Graham Round), a gruelling endurance run spanning 100 kilometres over 26 of Ireland’s remotest mountain peaks. After 22 hours she collapsed, 2 summits from the end. Interesting. I've run and cycled in Kerry, Galway and Donegal, but never in the Wicklow Mountains.
I've just looked at the IMRA website - it's a whole new world over there.
