that was great, so so hot though.

For 2015 only, the route has been altered due to work on the dam/reservoirs and we at the club have been unable to gain access across this normal route.
So, the Tockholes race is in fact not in Tockholes this year (although is still under the same name) and registration is from the Sunnyhurst pub - BB3 1JX
Please find the route and other information on the link; http://dashers.org.uk/events/TockholesEvening
Thursday 2nd July - 7:15pm start - BS - 7.5km / 363m ascent & £4 entry
Hope to see some of you there!
Cal
It's been cracking weather the past few days & the route will be good for fast times as it's nice & dry, the Sunnyhurst does good pints afterwards too.
The revised route is mainly on paths apart from a section on a mud (very dry) track and some rocky bits, should be a good race!
See some of you there, hopefully
Registration from 6pm, by the way
last note before the race;
reminder that it's not in Tockholes this year, despite being named Tockholes - registration from the Sunnyhurst pub and start is at the bandstand in Sunnyhurst woods (5 mins walk / 2 mins run downhill!)

Credit where it's due, Darwen Dashers certainly live up to their name in publishing race results....they're on the internet before I'd arrived home, blimey you guys are quick. Maybe that explains all the speed humps littering Tockholes village!
The race is also a dash...well it was for some. I occasionally dashed but also plodded, especially up through the woods. But overall it's a very runnable course which was extremely well marshalled.
Thanks to all the Dashers.
