    A 24 hour Corbett challenge

I had a busy weekend in the Scottish Highlands doing a circuit of Corbetts around Loch Lyon solo and unsupported. I was out for 23 hours and 53 minutes on pathless hills and met no one. Details will appear in the Fellrunner and might interest people who are becoming concerned about the rising popularity of the BG and the erosion of the paths in Cumbria.

Sounds very interesting Yiannis, and well done! I think the BG will always be popular and we're only just seeing the start - but it's great to be reminded that there's life beyond it for those seeking to get away from the crowds. I supported Tom Phillips on his successful Ramsay this weekend just gone (I know he had a lot of useful advice from you and others) but even that was an eye opener to the rewarding possibilities beyond the BG.

Well done Yiannis, I think I need to do a Ramsay first but would be interested to know the details.

Good stuff Yannis, any stats forthcoming distance and climb??
Quite right lots of long stuff to have a go at in Scotland, really wild and best done on site, Rigby, Knoydart superidge, Glen Sheil N&S ridges, Cuillins, Etc From 12 to 24 hours. No pressure to do them to a schedule just big days out.
I have a little something in mind myself....

Ian, all fine detail will appear in the Fellrunner. If you are interested in the Cuillin, there is the Cuillin round, probably the finest (shortest distance-wise) 24 hour challenge I have ever done. Details in a past Fellrunner or I can supply.

Superb, Yiannis. Not bad at all for a youngster .

Would this be the 24 hour Corbetts record? I can't just think of another.
