My ten year old daughter loves her three pet ferrets.
The female ferrets (female ferrets are called Jills) recently developed aplastic anaemia which is quite common in female ferrets if you don't neuter them in time. This is a serious condition and can be fatal. We thought all was lost until we contacted a local ferret sanctuary. They recommended a vet where the ferrets could receive a "jill jab" which was a life-saver.
So grateful were we that I decided that I had to repay the sanctuary in some way.
I have picked a suitably challenging challenge that should allow me to raise the target amount of £10.000.
Next Saturday, I will leap from Scafell to Scafell Pike. I'm asking a few members of the fell running community to accompany me to witness the attempt and hold my butties...
