    Bingley Boys Bag Bob 15/7

Just a spot of blantant self publicity :-

Myself (Andy Nicoll) and my pal Dave Stephenson both of Bingley Harriers managed to get round on Friday / Saturday.

    Andy : 23.09
    Dave : 23.23

    Time / Direction : 7pm Start (15/7/11) Clockwise
Conditions : A tad on the damp side....!

Well done to Dallam runner - anyone else make it?

    Well done Bingleys Boys
It was a tad wet and blustery during Fred's Run so acknowledge the effort you boys made. As the calories ebbed away it started to feel cold on the tops.

    Well Done Andy
I was stood by your support van at Honister eating chocolate flapjack from one of your road support when you came over the hill and dropped in I shouted a welldone at you as you went straight though with out stopping.
I had heavy rain/clag vitually all the way on my BG but don't think it got as heavy as some of those down pours.
Respect for hanging on in there. Hoped to see you at the finish but we missed each other so i'll congratulate you both here.

Ian, I was one of the road support sitting in the camper van - nice to have a chat with you, hope your daughter didn't get too wet! It was definitely a mad rush when they appeared on the ridge, with the advance runner belting on ahead shouting that they weren't stopping, then people leaping into cars and disappearing off down to Newlands. They did brilliantly to complete in those conditions.

    Well done lads.

It was a very rough day out there, particularly over leg 3 when the conditions were crackers.

I thought it was wet when out with Stef, Yiannis and Georg on leg 3 a few weeks ago. Yesterday was significantly worse; the weight of water falling was something to behold.

I saw some snaps taken on the Foxes traverse. Water was just pouring off Scafell Crag in sheets.

    Great effort in the circumstances.

It sounds as though conditions were not pretty!

Damned good effort and you should be pleased with yourselves... CONGRATULATIONS:w00t:

I've seen some clips of the rain bouncing down - must be very sapping hour after hour in those conditions.

    Good one.

    Hi All,

I was the other victim of that crazy 24hrs that was our Bob Graham attempt. I vowed to photograph every summit but sadly the camera gave up after 31 - entertaining nonetheless:
