a nice race , met a few new faces , and a better night weather wise than we have had for a long time.
enjoyed the course even the odd road part
someone crept up on me in the last field and passed me with superior downhill technique , a new vest for me , very bright in colour, think i will have to dig out my black shorts to match.
well done geoff b , at least i had you having a lie down at the finish after that run in.
just been for a little jog to ease the legs

I agree. A great race. Thanks everyone.
Now, about that new vest (Pennine colours). It will take a while to recognise you in it after becoming familiar with the red and white of Ilkeston. I noticed that you replaced the Pennine one with a blue one before venturing onto the streets of Hayfield. Isn't it safe to wear Pennine colours in Hayfield?

Good to see Daz in his shiny new Pennine vest - welcome to the club.

Not sure about 'superior technique', but that finish really hurt.

Excellent turnout - 200 runners - hopefully we made a few quid for Kinder MRT. (There must have been 200 team members marshalling around the course, as well).

Pennine colours are quite safe - it's the brown, yellow & purple you don't want to be seen in!!

not sure how safe hayfield was
made sure geoff b escorted me back to the carpark
the vest did seem strange after 150 odd races in the faithfull red and white one.
i was a bit worried because the goyt valley hillbashers was there in large numbers, presumed your lot was a midweek raiding party
anyone know if jackie beat the record???, she kindly asked

huhahuh can i huhahuh come by huhahuh and go over huhahuh the stile huh huh please first, yep no worries, she certainly was giving it everything, hope she managed it
