Thanks Steve - I think the hayfield site is brilliant! Must have been something wrong with the timing... I thought I was fairly quick, but I was 3 minutes slower than last year!

Small request... when you list all the results for an individual runner, can you make the resulting table sortable by race/date... easier to compare year on year results then. (i.e make the column headers clickable to sort this view )

Hi John - you're not the only one getting slower... I'll take a look at your suggestion regarding
    sorting.

    Cheers, Steve

Nice one, Steve. Thanks for that.

Andy Pead is looking like a good bet for the Hayfield Champs (assuming he runs at Lantern Pike).

Like you say, a few of us are getting slower (including Lloyd!) At least Macc Lad was faster than 2 years ago.

I was 2 min slower than last year but 2 min faster than the year before. Seems like this might be a trend.

I was a mere FIVE minutes slower than last year ; from 49:20 to 54:01.

    Crumbs.... Anyone fancy a run?

By the way, good to meet you Daz but I expected you'd have a blackberry at least, so you could post on the forum during the race.

Daz, you'll definitely have to work harder. You can't let Dave and Geoff beat you on the run in. Not much time to train for the second half of the Ben.

I managed 2 minutes quicker than last year, which was a relief because I didn't have a good run then.

I'd put my money on Andy Pead for the championship.

You must be thinking too much, Daz. I just switch off the brain (doesn't take much for me) and go for it!

    Hayfield Champs-Cracken Edge!

THE KRACKEN DID AWAKE LAST NIGHT…..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly a big thanks to Kinder Mountain Rescue Team, their helpers & allies and not forgetting the very able (A&A) race organisers!

Last nights Cracken was a real Cracker, great turn out 200+, ace weather (tad hot & humid for yours truly ), stupefying & stunning views of the Kinder massive on the return leg…. Some excellent racing too, on the mostly soft ground …it was a really great night to be out & about on..

No doubt the results will be up soon at http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~temples/hc/

And there are bound to be pic’s posted soon by RichPips at http://qwertyphoto.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=21 and others
