doesnt matter whether its fell shoes, trail shoes , i only ever tie them once
I can't get mine off my feet if I don't undo the laces.

Who ties the laces for you Daz? Have you tried those velcro fasteners?
Tao begets one. One begets two. Two begets all things.

Those elastic laces are great. I've never tried them on fell shoes though.
Fitness can't be stored. It must be earned over and over, indefinitely.

I've never tried them either, but I ordered a pair from sportshoes on Wed night after the whole of the tread from one of my old Adidas trail shoes fell off at some point during a 90min run. They arrived on Fri & I'll be trying them out tomorrow.

Just done 2 hours in them on the dried out badlands of the Clwydian Hills. Because they were straight out of the box I had to stop a couple of times in the first 20mins to get the laces right, but after that they were fine. As far as sizes go, I found them similar to Glads & New Balance.

They are good to wear FR but keep an eye on the milage they do.
The Montrails are still going strong after 230 where as the Mizuno are worn down to half grip after less than 100.
    Just a point worth considering.

Thanks for that Stagger, I did 2 hours on rough, tough mountainous terrain.....I logged it as 25 miles .
