Some good discounts on the Nike free V3 shoes at the mo. I believe variety is a good thing so be it road, fells, canal paths, mtb or road bike who gives a shit it all beats being an armchair athlete.

I went from the Asics 2140 to Saucony Kinvaras and wonder if the Lunarglide might be a good half way house. Anyone know?
Depends if you need some support or not? If yes then they are a good choice, if no you'd be better looking at something like the adizero boston, or if you want to keep on the more "minimal' tip of the kinvaras maybe check out inov8's 255.

Thanks eavesy. Bloody great tip re the Adidas zero Boston; cheapish too! Just ordered a new pair of Kinvaras and entered Langdale so I need to lose 7 lbs and get a grip. I will get a pair of the Boston's to alternate on my road dos.

The lunars are a sweet shoe, they feel very different to the usual road shoe (well they do to me anyways), but they get the thumbs up from me!!

By the ways, why do people who are more likely to wear their ron hills to bed than put a pair of lunarglides on, feel they have to pass comment on a thread blatantly about a road shoe? Get over it, not everyone has a fell on their doorstep.

Never worn a pair of Ron Hills to bed, is it supposed to be some kinky thing?

Oi, I'm not a road runner. I'm nowt spesh but I do a L or M fell race a month and a couple of road half Marathons a year somewhere in Europe. I'm lucky to live in the lakes so tend to do about 60/40 road to fell. I would recommend a bit of road to any fell runner who races. Running fast road times is bloody hard! (probably harder as there are no walking rests)
I hope I'm right in assuming your comment was intended as a joke?
