    heavy or lite

just wondered what peoples thoughts were on shoe weights for races
do you prefer a lite shoe for a short races/sprints were theres less foot protection needed and more speed, or as its a short race does it not matter to be wearing a heavier shoe.
same goes for long races : heavier shoe more foot protection tiereder legs or lite shoe = less tierd legs

    Re: heavy or lite

Lighter (lighter the better) shoe whether short or long, racing or training. When I wear a shoe with more about it like a Roclite 315 it is determined by the terrain rather than the length or speed. Rocky craggy stuff like round Scafell I like to have a bit of protection.
