    Lop, or 'Loppe' is apparently Middle English and just another word for flea.

    Learn summatt new every day, funny how folk use sayings without knowing what they mean, it's only when you get older you think 'wtf have i just said'!

    Never heard of "fit as a lop" nor have I heard of "fit as a flea" I suppose fleas are quite fit though.

    Re: Today's 14th run in 14 day

    50 in 50 tonight with a half headtorcher up over ogden moor in the misty drizzle. I took a bit of a risk parking in the ogden water car park which advertises itself as being locked at 7 pm but fortunately when I got back at 6:57 from what was probably a five mile run with the hound (of the baskervilles on the moor tonight ) the car park gate was still open, although my car was the only one there. I think I need to park by the pub from now on.

    Mileage so far:

    Week 1 -> 51 miles
    Week 2 -> 39 miles
    Week 3 -> 38 miles
    Week 4 -> 44 miles
    Week 5 -> 39 miles
    Week 6 -> 52 miles
    Week 7 -> 37 miles
    Week 8 -> 5 miles so far

    Well done Stolly, are you going for Ron Hill's record running streak?
