Todays stage cancelled because of weather conditions. It should have passed 5 miles from here and there is a bit of wind but nothing like what was forecast. Seems a bit over the top to cancel but i suppose the organisers know best

Richard, I live near Blackpool where the stage was due to finish today on the prom. Conditions are pretty horrendous and it is no surprise they called it off.

I am planning to run over Nicky Nook from Scorton then on to see the 3rd Cat climb at Grizedale on stage 2. You back at uni already Sam, i thought your summer hols wouldnt be over until early October
