Water is H2O; Deuterium- a stable isotope of Hydrogen- is 2[H2O] and better known as Heavy Water. It's that stuff the Nazis were trying to make in Norway and we kept blowing up their plants.

Brilliant! From Lurpack to the Heroes of Telemark via deviant sexual practices in just a handful of posts.

Deuterium is indeed a stable isotope of hydrogen - D2 and 'heavy water' is D2O.

It's the last time I drink water anyway. No wonder I've got a headache.

Do you know what they were wanting it for? I sort of wondered if they might be using it as a neutron moderator to stabilise a fission reaction, in order to use the fission biproduct (Plutonium? Thorium?) to make a big nasty bomb.

The Nazis would never have succeeded, apart from them fighting a war on too many fronts they were w@nkers.

And Hitler only had one ball.
Tao begets one. One begets two. Two begets all things.
