The Best Garlic bread in the--

    World.
Following on from Stagger's inspirational butter thread, i remembered a recipe i had not made fro a while, and it is so easy:

3 Ciabatta small loaves from Morrison they measure about 5 inch long 2.5 inch across 3/4 inch thick---- slice in half set to one side
then soften about 2-3 oz of finest butter add to this 4-5 crushed garlic cloves
Toast the bread on the outside ie not the inside of the bread
    place on a bread board
then smear all the garlic butter over the 6 halves of bread
    toast
all the butter melts in and the oil from the bread also warms and spreads
we had it with James martins Kedgeree

i thought of stagger while eating hmmmmmm :w00t:
    Going to try again....

Re: The Best Garlic bread in t

whilst eating his tea last night my son, aged one and a half, showed us how much he liked his garlic bread by hugging it to his chest and letting out a heart felt "aarrrgghhh".

that must have been the best garlic bread in the world - but a slightly different recipe to Amex.

Garlic butter for me though is not complete with out a good handful of freshly cut herbs finely chopped with a squeeze of lemon juice and some sea salt.
