Maybe everyone is too busy reading and writing blogs?

In all seriousness, we can't close the forum. How will I ever achieve master status? I'm taking the long view and working my way up to the lounge slowly.

Besides with the World Cup going those weeks it might be usefull.
If you're talking about the (inferior) union version of rugby, well its just like american football but with no helmets, sun visors or tights, no forward passes, no tackling non-ball carriers, no downs (but you have to release the ball when tackled) and completely fricking stupid things called scrums when the ball is passed forward

As for the forum, well I started to lose interest when certain not to be named er... dickwads started to do nothing but pick arguments and abuse people but do tend to get back my enthusiasm the less those dickwwads are about

Excellent use of the term "dickwad". Not heard that for a few years.

Please put league into the same 'dickwad' bucket as football, gravy boys and misplaced gloom about t'forum.

To be fair, that's the very reason I stopped visiting the forum as much. But I can still be drawn in every now and again. I've certainly got more work done since I limited my time on here!

But whenever the dickwads start tuning up the band again I switch off for a week or so. I don't like some of the negativity that goes on on here sometimes...

I think we can blame them folks from Yorkshire for the demise of this forum.
It's not suprising really with their negative postings.
Hopefully a new forum for fellrunning folk will rise out of the ashes.
Just make sure the tykes are left out.

On the contrary, I think you should name and shame the dickwads, you dickwad.
