    If Marvin gets inundated with requests or there are any problems getting a map, there's one on the Macc Harriers website. Look in their forum (link to the left of the homepage) and there is a link to a pdf'd OS map on the Roaches thread.

    Incidentally, that section of map looks very orange to me

    Now, how do you shrink the bugger to a more manageable size...?

    Beats me.

    I should rename myself Technophobe.

    I'll just have to carry the whole OS sheet.

    The problem is that Julian's map is wrong at Helmesley. Have a look at the difference between the one in his post and the one I sent you LR. My plot is last year's route, and I note that Julian questions the accuracy of his map. So unless the route has actually changed for this year, we go to the west of Helmesley.

    Not much. Well the bit along the top of the Roaches is fairly flat.
