    Blu-ray film wish list

Why is it so many dross films are reissued in Blu-Ray. Classic examples of that saying "you can't polish a turd".
Yet some really great films that are criminally ignored and have outdoors scenes especially that would be great in Blu-ray

I nominate 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Local Hero' as two that I would splash the cash for Blu-ray editions.

    Any more ?

Ryans Daughter....for me the most beautiful scenery based film ever.
Oh, and of course, Blade Runner

Oooh, is it better? Might shell out and add it to my regular DVD, Directors cut version and deluxe High Def extended Directors cut version.

I haven't got it on DVD so no idea!

What I generally find is that DVD's played on a Blu-Ray player and upscaled to a HD TV are often nearly as good as a Blu-Ray anyway.

I'm with you on the upscaling dom, very little difference. Best use of hd i've seen is wildlife type shows. Yellowstone was particularly amazing. Gladiator is impressive too.
