SFG, are you the same SFG as on fetch?

I started cycling (I race road, cross, MTB and a bit of track sometimes) when I ripped my ATF ligament in my left ankle during the infamous cancelled OMM 2008... I have since also torn my medial right meniscus so running really is out of the question now, as I simply cannot run downhill without the appropriate tools (working knee and ankle). I could still run uphill, problem is though getting back down once up

I also organise a fell race and marshall... I am recogniseable as I am the idiot marshalling on a summit with a cross bike parked against the cairn or trig

Music for me too. After lots of years annoying the neighbours and family I reckon I'm not doing too badly on the guitar, dabbling with the ukulele gob iron and so on, not much of a singer and Grouse is not up to much so anyone fancy teaming up to do some pub turns? Knees still OK so have to fit in round running!
I'm gonna get that cwazy gwouse...

We were at the excellent Beacon centre in the west Lakes the other week and they had some footage from an old country show from about 40 years ago. One of the competitions was pipe smoking!

I have found the solution to my predicament already Ian, it is called Three Peaks Cyclocross Run up carrying bike, launch yourself off on top of bike

Well, I packed in with dodgy knees in my 20s, took up coaching last year after 20 odd years of rocknroll lifestyle abuse and have now re-acquainted my limbs with the joys of running up and down hills. I don't plan on giving up again any time soon but if it becomes necessary I'll just do more coaching....fell walking...fell crawling etc
