There are loads of music fans on here but we've not discussed the reformation of the Black Sabbath, surely a more influential and important band than say the Stone Roses :closed:
eavesy, what do you reckon?

"Sabbathh Bloody Sabbath, life is killing you"
DT, they gave birth to Heavy Metal, the fact that 40 years on they are still in demand speaks volumes!
and of course they sang that very well known fell runners ditty
"Fairies wear boots"
Well DT as you ask.
Sabbath are the single greatest band they world has ever known, and there influence reaches far further than that of the Stone Roses. However, I won't be going to see em. This may surprise some, especially as I'm going to the Roses. The reason being I don't think Sabbath can pull off what i'd want them to be like anymore, where as I think the Roses can.
Anyway despite all the hype of the roses and sabbath, this will be the gig of 2012:

"That was the night everything changed"
Black Sabbath, the first album, is still the greatest album cover ever....and the intro played with the lights out and headphones on is sheer class.
Sabbath were/are a class act, influential definately, but not as much as Led Zepp.
