    I've just heard about these caterpillers on radio 4! sthey said they have munched through the whole of skiddaw! Slate included!

    How about a pair of these?




    I saw the caterpillars on Blencathra a few days ago but no seagulls. Then on Kentmere Pike last night there were hundreds of seagulls but no caterpillars. I should have pointed them in the right direction.

    The antler moth caterpillars, which are about two inches long, have hatched in their millions in the Helvellyn and Skiddaw areas.
    I wish they'd eat bracken instead of grass
