Wish List 2012

Are there any races that you've never done before that you really want to do in 2012?

Maybe it's a race you've just never got round to doing or one which you only heard of in 2011 and what you heard whet your appetite...

For me, the Old Counties Tops captured my imagination, but partnering might be an issue.

Other than that, Wasdale became a definite in the calendar. Can't wait to experience such a classic.

Well I have been running locally on the Shropshire hills with a few raids across the border into Wales for the last year and a half.

I now feel 2012 should include a classic because to me it is sort of the pinnacle of our sport - so I am sort of licking my lips at the following currently:-

Ennerdale / Borrowdale / Tour of Pendle or Peris Horseshoe - won't do all of these maybe one or two depending on dates and how my legs fair. Always like to have a sort of challenge to set myself each year which is just outside my comfort zone.

Plus I sort of want to try Carneddau and the Fairfield Horseshoe in 2012.

I wonder when I look back next December what I would have achieved!!

I've already made my list for 2012. It does include all the lakeland classic's, of which i've only done Borrowdale and Langdale. Can't wait for enerdale and wasdale!

Great Lakes Run which usually clashes with something else but definitely will do it next year fitness allowing.
