Each year, the various contributors to the estimable Caught By The River website compose a paragraph or two reflecting upon the year that is drawing to a close. My contribution this year largely concerns running around on the moors. I heartily recommend looking on the site's home page at some of the other offerings. Bill Drummond's (he of KLF) "Shadows and Reflections" piece is quite amusing.

Thank you for the kind words. CBTR is a wonderful place and I consider myself honoured to be a contributor. Some fantastic writers on there. The New Year fell race is the Giants Tooth, which is in my back yard more or less.
