I have a massive soft spot for Kinder Scout. Not particularly high, no peak, but I just love it.

another one that's not high, but is my favourite hill.... Win Hill in the Hope Valley. It was the view from my bedroom window and I'd go wandering up and around it after school loads. it's like going home when I see it, even better when I'm on it.
Ooh what a question
Skiddaw has the most meaning (1st one i did, then the 1st whiteout i ever experienced, 1st peak on the BGR etc) but i can't help feeling that the Scafells are a bit special, esp when moving from one to the other, whichever way you go. When you're in the lakes but not on those fells, it's usual to search for them in the view. When you are there, there's so much around you to grab your attention. The sight of Scafell Crag from Mickledore is a great sight. WHat caps it is that Eskdale Wasdale, Borrowdale and Langdale all provide gorgeous approaches and ways off making for a cracking day out.
I honestly don't think I have favourite, there's just so many.
But one mountain (for it is more of a mountain than fell in my opinion) that has never ceased to stir my soul is An Teallach.
It's visible from so many remote locations and stunningly beautiful in any aspect.
Unfortunately I only have a poxy compact camera
