How many clubs do night runs?

Where were you on Thursday night in Settle DT? It was my first night race with that 'that lot' (mainly Wharfedale) for something like 3 years but it was truly brilliant, what with lots of getting lost on the tops in the mist and snow and me managing to find a brilliant line on the way back. I also won the wine for almost exactly predicting my finishing time

Ambleside AC run on Tuesday evenings - sometimes a group will do a fell run, depends on the weather, who turns up ......

I'll be resuming a contract in Stockport in January and this means staying up there a couple of nights a week, sometimes a THursday. Do you welcome impostors from other clubs/can any bugger show up or is it members only?

You would be very welcome to run with Pennine (as would anyone), we're a very friendly bunch, who like a pint afterwards too. There's generally two or three groups, but all run on the fells. Drop me a PM before you come down if you like and I'll meet introduce you to everyone when you come down.

Altrincham run fortnightly on Thursdays at 7pm from various pubs.
January 12th will be the Miners Arms, Adlington and January 26th the Dog & Partridge at Bridgemont.

Bowland have a bat league, every Tuesday and Thursday, they're well attended too.

Glossopdale- every Tuesday and Thursday, occasionally joined by friends from other clubs as well, its always good to socialise with them in a non-race setting!

Esk Valley meet on a Tuesday for headtorch runs in the hills, various locations (see website) along the northern edge of the North York Moors. Fishbulb i think you sampled the nightlights on a hol.
