this thread inspired me to run out and seek my local trig this evening... 3 miles away, behind a farm a couple of miles outside the Warwickshire town in which I live...

it was a sorry site, the vegetation in the field was higher than the trig point. although it does plant seeds of a triangular training run, linking up another trig a few miles away across fields and country roads... sadly that trig appears to be fenced in on private land...

    How about this one...
this will certainly be recognised by some.
I wouldn't want to infer any wanton vandalism but it does appear to have been painted in the local club colours....

I didn't want to make it too obvious...

This needs a new thread as it's not a seldom visited trig

Not sure, I drive past it regularly and I've wondered. It's in an open space, quite high up, so would have had views of other trig points in the past (doubt it does now).
