certainly in the hall but it will be busy in there. we were talking about having a tent at the start for runners to leave a fleece/jacket in for when they finished, I'm not sure this is happening so i'll check and confirm

Looks like I will be running this after all, so thinking of doing a recce (mainly walking probably) on Thursday, unless the weather is awful, if anyone wants to join please shout.

there will be a tent or tents in the finish field, people are welcome to leave a fleece or jacket in there at their own risk. Please don't leave all your kit there though as it wont be very big! A carrier bag with your fleece in and your name on is probably the best bet.

Any idea if the full wet weather gear rule will be lifted this year, I seem to remember that we only needed windproof cover last year, the weather forecast is looking ok and it makes my pack a lot lighter with windproof's instead on waterproofs.

    cheers.

really? you need to ask this question now? Bring all your Kit (water and windproof) and IanFitz(RO) will decide on the day, there's no way he can make that descision yet what ever the forcast says.

Plus remember that this is minimum kit.

    Ok , cheers,
will bring all the kit needed, my kit is well beyond minimum, just could not remember when they told us last year, on the day or day before on the forum.
    Thanks anyway.

Hasn't some idiot from Dark Peak lugged a 20L chug-a-lug of water up to the Brown Knoll check point as well, for the last 3 years?
