thats the final start list. Its worth a look, some strong runners on there.

'tis a good way to distract yourself from the HORROR of the forecast. For a short time anyway...

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the photos this year. Looks fun with a capital F.

I shan't be there, I shall be in Spain drinking beer with forecasted 22c temps.

Will the race be at all under threat, say if theyre is a foot or two of snow on the ground and blizzard like conditions prevail on the day?

Very Very Well Done Ian & ESFR Gang !
(or should that be DPFR ES Louts...)

    Great Bunch about to Skyline,
particularly nicely wild up there at the moment,
with even more stuff to come!!!

More than chilly at Kinder's Feet this eve....
    Can't wait (sort of!)...
Guess it might be 2007 agin' plus a wee' bit of white stuff too ....
That was another special one....as they all are...for "The Lucky Few"......
    Miss Muddy Paws Dad....
    Not clever & often stupid..

Because of the control measures we have in place and the kit requirements the race will go ahead unless:

1, the local roads are closed or this looks extremely likely. This should be known by Saturday. But i dont think this will be the case Or,
2, Edale MRT tell us to stop. From my extensive discussions with them it would be unlikely this would happen*

*although they do think we are a little bit bonkers for wanting to run in poor weather. Not from a risk perspective just a 'wouldn't you rather be sitting by an open fire with a cup of tea when the weather is like this' sort of way

You may wish to pack one of these, just to be on the safe side. I've been using one for several months now, very good with muddy fell shoes

Well the snow has arrived. Sevrral inches so far. I would suggest finding a fellow runner with a 4x4 and car sharing, or at least some huskies and a sledge. ...
