    Hi Daz,

Another 2 points for me please, I managed to break the 2 hour barrier at the Good Shepherd in my 4th attempt at this race (2.26, 2.11, 2.07 and now 1.59). Unfortunately Chris Farrell (Horwich), James Logue and Tim Ellis (CVFR) has quite a battle resulting in Chris breaking the record in 1.41.33. My sprint finish got me just under the 2 hours for 1.59.54 and 82 points.

Hi Daz, points for me so far this month are 3 for HP40 (we'll ignore that one) and 29 for Lantern Pike. I'll go with 29 for the time being until something better crops up.

I have the GVS 25th Marathon coming up this weekend but I guess that won't count because it's described as 'road'. Weekend after that it's Windgather fell race, then Round Rotherham, then Snowdonia Marathon (again won't count because it's mostly road).

Dan, that's an impressive speed increase from fast to even faster.

Thanks Nick, its good to know I am still improving, running everyday has helped. Also just getting out and doing long runs early in the year has stood me in good stead. All I need now it to get a sub 3 at Tour of Pendle (3.24 in 2012, 3.03 in 2013 so should be on) and I will be happy.

RIGHT! let's get this show back on the road...

Hobbsy - I went with the purple at Lantern Pike (to match the heather) - you were well ahead of me though, although I did improve my September score to 50
Amex - negative scores get rounded up to zero! did you make it into positive territory at 3 Shires?
Al - good to see you back mixing it near the front - even though you can only get 5 counters you're going to end up near the top of our table at the rate you're going

Here's my and Mrs Noel's for September.

I wasn't quite as fit as a butcher's dog, but Rob Little was. 93 points

Mrs Noel did pretty well, with 81 at the same race.

[Edit: I've just remembered, I did better at Lantern Pike. 34.02 for Simon Coldrick; 35.45 for me = 95 points]

    Thanks Daz.

Amex - although your 3Shires points are undoubtedly more meaningful, I have added your 4Passes pts to the table, which puts you now hot on the heels of Eleanor!

    Hi Daz
Please can I have 86pts for September done in both the Great Longstone Chase and Lantern Pike - fairly consistent eh!
Then the wheels fell off in the Edale Skyline (47pts) when some mystery knee lurgy took hold going over brown knowl
Think that is me done with racing for the year, time to get back to basics (well except for a hobble round the fell relay).

Hopefully my next race will be Trigger 2014

Hi Daz - please can you put me down for 80 points at the LDWA Chiltern Marathon challenge event? 4:30 for me, winner in 3:45.

    Thanks very much
