My position on that last chart is about the highest I'll manage this year! I'd better make the most of it.

    Re: Forum Champs

Reverand - er... no! you made the common mistake of dividing winning time by your time - that's not how it works - correct is:
    (1-(YourTime-WinningTime)/WinningTime)*100
    i.e. 4182-3671 = 511
    511/3671 = 0.139
    so 86 points to you!

RobF & IanDP both get Gold Stars!

Official results not yet out (as far as I've seen) for Loughrigg Silverhowe, but from what I know I didn't score 97 (surprisingly!) so that's my counter for Feb. Next stop April for me.

    Re: Forum Champs

Well I've scored 68 for the High Cup Nick on Saturday in what was a truly brilliant race and am waiting for the results for Commondale Clart on Sunday. To tell you the truth though, and having been well beaten by IanDarkpeak (and totally hammered by the Reverand) in the High Cup Nick, I feel I should take the 68 for that as my counter for February rather than the 76 I've already lodged from doing the Danby Beacon fell race. For sure the High Cup Nick was definitely the best race of the year so far with a lot of strong runners and it seems wrong (in my little stolly world) to ignore my result in the best race.

Can I have a 68 for February please Bob?

    Stolly - that's the spirit!

I can't see sore legs in the results for Wadsworth, or Stagger for Jarrett Jaunt or Studmarks, so I've removed those from the race list - anything else to declare?

zephr, MarkG, manothemoors - anything for Feb...?

what races have people got planned in March then...?

Er... I'm high peak marathoning this Friday night/Saturday morning but scoring points is the least of my concerns

DTS - you are right - I got up at 0530 on the day, sat in the car already to leave and after a snow fall the previous evening I (for once in my life) decided to be sensible and not risk the 200 mile drive, especially knowing that there was dodgy conditions at the other end. I still regret it.

I apologise for not updating the table. Still waiting out to see if I make the Edale Skyline from the reserves list for my Apr run.

    Re: Forum Champs

Similar to what Stolly was saying, I was 'umming and ahhing' about whether to use the Charnwood Hills race and, because Loughrigg Silverhowe was such a great day, and because I felt a bit of a fraud using a CL (no offence to anyone), I'll use the 'proper' fell race!

    Winning time - 4299 secs
    My time - 4759

89 points for Feb please sir!

    See you in April.

(Bad luck Sore Legs, I can imagine the regret.)
