(edit - just read it again and think that's right - so low scores can be dropped off as the year goes on.)
you can do as many races as you want each month
your best scoring race becomes your points for that month
after you accumulate more than six scoring months, you start counting only your best six

DTS - this is great mate.

I miss not having the fun of taking part in the South Wales Series etc.

Excellent idea - cant wait to see how this develops.

Stolly - if certain races are easy points then you just need to pick your races carefully

Also just noticed Adam (superflyguy) has added his name in his Sig which I think would be a decent idea (no pressure) because it would help people see who they've raced against. Just a thought

can't claim it was my idea. AndyA suggested it on the Noonstone thread to try and avoid some of the nameless sniping that happens. It works equally well in this context though.

Can I join in too? I've only done one race this year so far but aim to do quite a few. It was captain cooks (same as Stolly). I used the formula and worked out that I get 64 points but here is my time in seconds if anyone wants to check it. 2682 (I hope I got that bit right, my time was 44.42)
Thanks Hester Cox (Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers)

LDWA challenge events might be problematic because as far as I'm aware they dont usually record the times and they dont usually bother too much if someone wants to set off an hour or so early so it could be difficult to work out - you can always ask of course but I suspect nobody will be sure.
