I spot a flaw in your plans to run the Ll to B race!

Yes, I was used to run for Tring and they are still my second claim club. I owe them all a huge, huge amount since it was a slect few at Tring who introduced me to the wonderful, esoteric world of Fell Running. It was great seeing many of them recently at the Box Hill Fell Race. Living in south-west London, I now run mainly for Wimbledon Windmilers.

As for the floor in my plan, you may be right. Actually, I'm spending the night before my Bristol-based wedding in or near Brecon. We are going to get up early and fell run the north ridge up Pen y Fan and then down Cribyn.

    Happy days

I ran the Box Hill race a few times, when I used to work down that way - a few years ago though. Ran over the route many times in training as it was the only hill I could find vaguely near Shepperton!

Its 170.688 metres up for every 1600 metres along. Or 106.675 metres ascent per kilometre. 6 Months on the continent and I've forgot all about miles, feet and such like.

    I'm 188 cm's tall now.
