just got up after supporting the first leg and then driving back home

all the contenders looked in good shape after the food stop at threlkeld being around 15 mins up on schedule, despite skating most of the way down halls fell ridge due to low cloud making the rocks a bit greasy

fingers and toes crossed that the rain i drove through on the way home doesnt make it that far north

As you can see I didn't make after repeated bouts of Sickness and stomach cramps, Not sure if it was the the food or coming down with a cold.

I'm really pi$$ed off after all that training. Will have a think and might have another go later in year

The weather that SS comments on did come our way with heavy rain thorough 2nd section but thanks to top naving the team were still up when they set off on the third.

Thanks to all the team who pushed me round and I hope the rest of the boys come home safely.

Saw Will Turner on first and second sections but we dropped him near clough head. Saw another support team waiting at DRaise (for Will?) reporting a leg injury to there party who would be pulling out.

By 6.40pm, at the Moot Hall last night, 3 members of DP had finished and were waiting for one more. It was fantastic; he arrived to great cheers as he touched the building with, apparently, no more than a few seconds to spare.
Congratulations to all who finished and well done to everyone involved.
