It is possible you may encounter mud too. Or perhaps even Mud.

I'm shuddering with the thought. I can't think of anything worse than an encounter with Mud.

Not much mud today - as long as you stayed in the Parish Hall!!
Well done Chris, second over 40. I have an envelope for you next time I see you.
Wouldn't JJ let you stay to collect your prize?

That's a terrific little race. Last time I did it it was snowy and frozen and clear. Bit different today. There was some interesting discussion afterwards about popularity of fellrunning, oversubscribed championship races and the role of the internet ie. this forum and website mainly.

It was quite late when I left after finishing my pie & peas and burning my tongue on the tea!
The mist had lifted and I could actually see the Bleasdale Circle that we had run round.
Didn't see a dam thing during the race!
I definitely made the right decision (to wear trousers) as I was one of the few to finish with clean legs.

Anyone seen any results posted yet? They don't seem to be on the Bowland site yet.

C'mon Bowland, get some results posted on your website.
After climbing a great hill one only finds that there are many more hills to climb ......
