Will do Gents. Get wrapped up warm though I will be 3/4 way down the field.

Well done to Rob Hope (winner) and the organisor & his helper.

Wheezing Donkey was every where. Charged me to get in, sent me the wrong way 3 times and tried to charge me to get out. (Always the same in Lancshire)

Well done WD your team made it an excellent event.

    Many Thanks.

You're more than welcome Trevor. Glad that you enjoyed yourself in foreign climes. We always attempt to look after refugees from The Dark Side
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Cracking race this. Many thanks to the RO's and the marshals!

Had an ok race, faded on the climb then hung in to the finish!

    Delish pie at the finish!

Got to hand it to you Martin, you certainly know how to show a young lady a good time, bring her to Bleasedale and meet the Bowland crew! Did the lady in question get the prize for first lady? She seemed well up on the descent through Blindhurst yard.

    Ian.

The perfect introduction to the Bowland fells! Yes, she maintained the lead to the finish, great effort!

Even better, the prize money was spent on some fine ales from the Bowland brewery on the way home...couldn't ask for more!

As we are now into February, I'm just giving a "heads-up" for this little Lancashire event on the 22nd.
After best part of 20 years as the RO, Les Orr has stood down and Leigh Warburton has taken over the reigns. Details are on the FRA website, races page.
NB Pre-entry is £5. EOD is £10 - it does pay to book early.
As usual, please car share where you can - we do charge £1 per car for parking, that goes to the school as we use the playground for parking.
No pie & peas this year, but our ladies will be selling tea / coffee & cakes - the money will go to Chipping First Responders who patched me up whilst waiting for an ambulance, after my head torch tumble 14 months ago.
