Glad that you boys enjoyed yourselves. It's always a pleasure to help Les at this event - almost runs itself, the way all the crew turn up every year and each gets stuck into their respective tasks.
Nice to get a shout from Mapper & Brett as they scurried through the lower yard at Blindhurst Farm.

Ahhh...I think I was responsible for leading you astray

You were marvelous, taking control of the situation and getting us back on track!

I pointed this out to them and lead the bunch back across the moor until we picked up the race route.

Enjoyed it though - at least until that last muddy field - who pu

    t that there!

Thanks to Bowland and the people of Bleasdale - had a good day.

Great event. It's 3 years since I've done this race and those fields at the start and finish don't get any drier. Once on the fell it was just fantastic though. A good day for it.
Pie & Peas 10/10. Golden Pippin at the Tillotsons 10/10.

Looks like a nice muddy one.

Guna have to put that on my 'to do' list.

Quality race ~ really enjoyed the descent, but struggled on the last fields. Just glad I changed my Lifa for a t-shirt at the last minute.

Nice pint of Golden Pippin at the Tillotsons & Black Sheep in the Sun.

I think this lady - N0155 - is the one who's fell shoes I have. Does anyone know her?

It says Londsdale on her vest. Is that a club ?
I suspect the orgainsers will know who she is based on the detail on her entry form.
