Best Mob Network on Lakes Mtns

Which mobile network gives the best coverage on the tops of the Lakes' mountains?

I have a Three phone and it gives poor coverage both on the tops and in the valleys. Not much use if you need to arrange to be picked up at the end of a long day!

Can anyone recommend a better network for the mountain tops?

    Orange? O2? Vodaphone? T-Mobile?

I've found Vodaphone to give the best general coverage in the Lakes and Scotland.

Now that Orange and T-Mobile have combined (and customers can use both network's signal) I've found their coverage pretty good in the Lakes.

    Which phone network?

General question, apologies if there has already been a thread on this, which phone network gives the best signal out on the fells? Currently with 3, where there is no coverage, are there any that have coverage when away from main points of civilisation eg up in Wharfedale Valley or Lakes etc?

Up here in Upper Wharfedale Vodafone works up to in between Starbotton & Buckden in the valley bottom.
