    He was supposed to be playing Darwen Library Theatre in the next few weeks

    I was in his world famous embassy club a couple of months back enjoying a couple of pints after finishing work early.
    He had a good innings though not bad 76 to say the lifestlye he had.

    What bugged me was when people payed to see him then complained that he was below the belt. Its like going to a Harry Potter movie and complaining that its not very much like real life.

    He was a good comedian, despite the nature of his humour, he always just meant it all as a laugh. Indeed, as a 'scouser' I went to the Embassy club once, but just had to keep my head down when he started on Liverpool. His show was hilarious! Thankfully, there were plenty of other targets than scousers there! They were laughing just as much as the rest of us! RIP...
