    Do you not think it favours Labour and Lib Dem at the moment when 36&% for Labour would deliver a majority and 36% for Tory would lead to what we have now?

    We have an imbalance in our House of Commons, whatever your political leaning is.

    I would like to see a change in the way we elect our MPs but not to any of the methods suggested which would just give us nore of what we have now.

    The Libs do very badly, the Tories do quite well and things are slightly harder for Labour...

    I can't remember specifics. It's more of an overall opinion having read a few recent history books. I think it was just before and during the dark days of Michael Foot. Presumably someone else on the forum has a better memory than me.

    Back to the money thread. Great fun in Ireland at the moment as a national newspaper is now releasing recordings of telephone chats between the bosses at Anglo Irish Bank. Right stinging article here.
