HELP!!! shoes for 3 peak Mara

Howdy all.I'm running this years 3peaks Marathon and am looking for some advice on shoe selection. I'm 67kg and have ran 2:57 in London Marathon. However, I know this wont mean a jot when a flatlander from Norfolk comes to the lovely dales. Been looking at Inov8Teroc or Roclite as I over pronate slightly but like a shoe close to the ground( currently using Mizuno harriers for XC races).Any advice would be most welcome.
    Thanks.

Unless it has been very wet your Harriers will do just fine. Very limited need for studs imo.

    Agree with that.

I ran round the 3P route in Harriers last week and apart from the rocky descent off Whernside they were fine.

Aye, if you find your Harriers comfortable stick with them.

I ran the 3P course yesterday in Roclite 295s. There were a couple of spots where I was wishing I had my mudclaws on (the muddy bits coming off Ingleborough) but not enough of them to justify it. I'd say the Harriers would be just fine.

Judge it nearer the day. If its dry a lot will run in road shoes.

Cliff technically its not a marathon as its just 23.3 miles give or take with about a mile of ascent/descent. See what the weather's like although, for what might possibly be the wettest place on earth, for some weird reason the Dales always seem to have dry Aprils

I have run the route a few times now in varying conditions and I did the race last year. I normally wear Roclite 315s. They do the job perfectly but as the others say...see what the weather is like on the day.

I have run it 3 times in 315s and once in Harriers - both were OK but I would vote for the 315s if they suit you.
