    Moving House

Missus and I are moving, bit of a shock really after 25 years in the same house, and we hadn't even planned to move, but such is life, if you can't buy a house and move on a whim, what can you do?

We have lived in a lovely old terrace of 3 leadminers cottages, (mid terrace) in the Welsh hills - small town 4 miles away. Well water, big garden, sloworms, swifts nesting, all sorts of wildlife etc - and hills all around.

We are moving to...... an old terrace of 3 leadminers cottages (end of terrace) in the welsh village of Rhandirmwyn, about 40 miles south. This time with an acre of woodland, a spring coming out of an old mineshaft and the "lower boat level" mine adit at bottom of the garden - and hills all around. 2 village pubs, little village shop and town 7 miles away.

Just have to move and sell this house now!

If you sell up too soon, you'll have to wake the tortoises up! :w00t:

They woke up a couple of weeks ago, and already inspected the new house and woodburner - meets with their approval!

Aagh! You're going to move from that gorgeous house and gorgeous area??!!! We have some happy memories of your place and I'm sure Oliver has some special memories of being rescued from your pond. On a serious note, hope you and the Missus settle in well wherever you move to.

Didn't you fancy Denbighshire Moley -I've heard that the tranquillity of Rhyl can't be beaten?

I'm shocked! Considering you where a gnats todger away from death last time you and I were in the vacinity of Rhiandirmwyn I thought you wold never go near the place again!! Great news though...you will be on our cycle route to the Devils Staircase. What will you name your new abode? Pineapple Villa?!!!

Yes, the frogs still croak about the day Oliver joined them in the pond!
The place we are going is pretty good too, though we shall be sad to leave here.

All the best Matthew & Jane. We hope that the move proves agreeable and that you become as enthused over the new place as you have been with the current house & location. 40 miles further S? Hope that we will still bump into you on Meiri's & P.B.'s
Just spotted Rhandirmwyn on the road atlas; you're heading quite a bit W as well as S; almost into Carwyn Farwyn territory!

I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Yes, closer to the Caz, sure we will have some more runs together now - talking of which he has a set of my stripey thermals, so watch out when you next see him (you'll hardly miss him in those :w00t.

I have Caz's Meiri date in my diary, hope to have more time and better fitness to go out and play this year .
