Welcome back to the forum Graham. One or two of the regulars were beginning to worry about you
Poacher turned game-keeper
An interesting new format, with the multiple loops, just such a damned shame about Cancellara

Roll on 'Roubaix' next Sunday!!
Sadly we lost a possible podium place, as Roger Hammond's retired now:thunbdown:
Generally to be found plodding along with 'www.ackworthroadrunnersandac.co.uk'
Paris Roubaix 2012
Tom Boonen achieves immortality in winning his 4th victory-no rider has won more- in one of the greatest ever break away rides (50 k) in a race which dates back to 1896.
Magnificent!

Winning four Paris Roubaix is, as you point out Graham, an unsurpassed feat, but achieving immortality is something entirely different. Chapeau Tom Boonen :closed:

Boonen..Boom..Ballan..Bubba..and even Balotelli..t'was a great Sunday of sport!
Not a Spring Classic but Tour of Turkey today: breakaway rider (Keisse) clear for 5 km but peloton bearing down and on the final bend he comes off. He's cool. Calmly gets back on. Then realises the chain is off. Peloton fast approaching. Tries to spin chain back on. Doesn't work so he decides to get his hands oily. Sets off steadily. Peloton bearing down with Petacchi looking for the win. Keisse stays calm...and just wins the stage.
Cool.

I don't have Sky, but someone posted a link of that incident on another forum. Well worth 5 minutes of your time;

I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
Respect to Keisse.
Well done lad.
