    You know, I think you're right, it is blatant advertising. I do apologise. I mistakenly thought it might be helpful to point someone in the direction of somewhere I knew they might be able to get hold of 272s. What I should have done is carried out extensive research and identified all retail outlets that might be able to do the same and listed them all here. What a fool I've been.

    Other cafes are available. As are other savoury delicacies suspended in tomato sauce.

    Well I wore my £63 272s on Saturday straight out of the box, after steaming the heelcups as usual. 8 1/2 hours on the fells, and 272s are still the most comfortable fell shoes I've ever had. Not the slightest niggle. And no, I don't work for Wiggle or Inov-8. Other states of foot deterioration are also available.
